How to Upgrade KODI – Install A Custom KODI Build (NEMESIS)

As we all know KODI is a great program that will allow you to watch live tv, on demand movies and shows, listen to music, and much more. It’s a great app, and we are very appreciative of all the developers out there who have help build it.

As it stands, the bare bones version of KODI is ……….. plain. It works and does the job, but if your looking for a cool layout and more features, we recommend that you install a custom KODI build.

This is a fairly easy process that will take around 10 min. A custom KODI build can be installed on and Android, or Android TV Box.

In this situation we will show you how to install the Nemesis build. All credit for this build goes out to Matt Bleasby @ http://kodiuk.tv. He is a champ!!!

How to Install A custom Kodi Build (Nemesis) on an Android TV Box

Step1: Open the KODI application.

Step 2: Once KODI is opened, hover over the Systems tab, and then click on File Manger below.

Step 3: Once you are in the File Manager, you will see a screen that is split in two (A & B). On side “A” click on Add Source.

Step 4: A box will appear that indicated “Add Files Source”. Click on the line that says “NONE.” Type in http://kodiuk.tv/repo, then click done.

Step 5: You should now be back at the  “Add Files Source” box. In the text area above the “OK” button, type in “KODIUK.” Then click OK.

Step 6: Return back to the Home Screen and navigate to the Systems tab and click on it.

Step 7: After clicking on the Systes tab, select the Add-ons tab on the right hand side of the screen.

Step 8: Click on Install from Zip, then click on KODIUK.

Step 9: Next click on repository.kodiuktv.zip. Within a few seconds you will see a notification appear at the bottom of the screen (right).

Step 10: Now you will want to select on Install from Repository. Then find the item “KODIUKTV Repo” and click on it.

Step 11: At this stage click on Program Add-ons and select KodiUK TV Wizard. (Select Install)

Step 12: Go back to your Home screen and click on the Programs tab. Once you do this, you will see an item “KodiUK TV Wizard.” Click on it.

Step 13: Select Kodi UK TV Builds, and then click on “Nemesis.” The new build will install. When it prompts you to close the application, please unplug the device.
